We are a group of couples in and around San Jose, California who believe in marriage. We know that a good marriage takes work and that communication with other married couples really helps us improve our own marriage.
Marriage Enrichment Groups (MEGS) are couples helping couples. There is no charge for MEG meetings.
The Silicon Valley Chapter sponsors four meetings per year where marriage enrichment is the topic. Equally important, we have a number of small groups that meet regularly at someone's house to work on our marriages, within the safe circle of other like minded couples. We sponsor retreats so that a couple can spend a weekend concentrating on their relationship and what is important for its growth and nurture.
Both ACME and the Silicon Valley Chapter are non-profit. You don't have to be a member of A.C.M.E to attend meetings, though we encourage you to join.
Mark your calendar for the January 16-18th 2009 retreat (more info).

From Good Sex to Great Sex
We welcome back perennial favorites, Susan Hennings and Jerry Talley. A program from Susan and Jerry is always an exciting, fun adventure. Their role playing is more real than reality and this program will give couples an opportunity to learn from experts and from their own relationship.
Susan Scott Hennings is a long term sex educator, in fact, her family would tell you she's been a sex educator since she was 9 years old, not always to the delight of other neighborhood mothers!
Susan is also a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in Santa Clara. She sees a wide variety of clients but specializes in working with both individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship and sexual difficulties.
Jerry Talley is currently an organizational consultant, but with a long-term interest in sex ... both personal and professional. He taught part-time on the faculty of Stanford for 15 years, conducted couple and group therapy for ten years, and is a frequent speaker on topics of love, intimacy, and sexuality.
